To those of you that are reading the 2 and 3 star postings, remember that most people don't have anything nice to say while they are grieving the loss of a loved one.
I wanted to do a quick edit, as my doggies and I will be relocating next week.
I took my dog in because she wasn't acting right and hadn't eaten in a few days. After running tests they found that her uterus was infected and I was told she needed emergency surgery. My dog was already the last patient of the day but they didn't mind to stay later to save her life. Her uterus was on the verge of repturing but they managed to get it out on time. They allowed me to wait till she woke up after the surgery which was a great relief for me as I was a crying wreck through out the last hour. Roxy, my dog, spent the night in an incubator. The next day, I went back to check on Roxy who was still really weak and not ready to come home. They allowed me to stay in a patient room for as long as I wanted while I visited (which was almost 2 hours). Roxy was released the following day and has begun her recovery process here with me at home. Roxy's life was saved thanks to the amazing individuals at Critter Care. I now get to spend more years with my best friend by my side!
Thanks again for lilis, Lola, and lulu.
I have brought all 3 of my dogs here for 8yrs. The have been here for sickness, shots, boarding, and then some. I could not have found a better vet in Texas. Dr.L is very considerate and truly cares for all animals. Thank you Critter Care for everything you have done for my babies, and all that you give to the community.
Best place in town to get care for your pet.
The clinic's Doctor's and staff are very caring, professional, and knowledgeable. They care so much about my pets whether I'm there for a regular appointment or an emergency. I think they are the best clinic in town, and they have never let me down. I highly recommend Critter Care Vets!
I have taken all my pets to Critter Care and have experienced bad customer service not once, but various times. I took my dog in today and when I re-entered the waiting area to pay, the doctor told me to step outside because Zeus was barking. She told me that from behind the sliding glass doors in a very rude manner. Note: the doctor didn't even interact with my dog before this. One of the vet techs was the one who attended Zeus. One of the young ladies in the front was nice enough to apologize and follow up with me outside. I believe that Dr. Leyendecker is the best vet in Laredo and I have told this to different people, however, I personally prefer genuine customer service over anything. I honestly felt humiliated since there were other people in the waiting area. I am definitely going to start taking all my pets to a different clinic.
Dr. L is deserving of a 10 star, they just don't offer that option here.
Update: I changed my rating to a 5 star because after interacting with these wonderful individuals for almost a week. I am so thankful to have them as my fur babies Vets. The Vets & Vet techs here are amazing. As long as I live here, I will never take them anywhere else. Thank you guys for being so understanding, taking care of our babies, and just being amazing people. Bless you.
They were so knowledgeable and understanding with our fur babies.
