They give you the runaround because they don't know what the h**l they're doing. No one gives you a straight answer, because they don't have one. Except the garden center staff, they are very helpful. The rest of the store is just stocked with a clueless employees who seem to hate their jobs. I guess they want to go home and mess with their phones.
Always find the product on there shelf.never scrambled like the home Depot. cool air inside. Frendly faces and service.like the 10 percent discount for using the Lowe's card. I recommend going there first then going to home Depot.
Ok, I purchased a laptop mount by Vivo on amazon to upgrade my setup. When it arrived, I had almost finished installing it when I realized that the screw or whatever that held the laptop tray together to the arm was damaged and not proper for setup. It was placed inadequately and my laptop was close to falling had I completely let go of it. I was furious that such a little part could cause such a big problem! It was at this point that I decided to try to find a replacement at hardware stores. When I went to Lowe's, I was greeted by a friendly employee (sorry man, I didn't see your nametag... :( ), and he replied that they didn't have that kind of screw. In fact, most stores (if not all in Laredo) wouldn't have it! But, he proposed an alternative! I bought regular phillips head screws with their corresponding nuts, and some washers for stability. All for less than 3 dollars! I nervously attempted it at home, and it worked like a charm! That employee saved me the hassle and annoying process or returning the WHOLE thing to amazon and either replacing it or not getting one altogether! I am currently typing this while looking at my laptop screen which is "suspended in mid-air" by the laptop mount! Dude, you are a lifesaver! My point being, these people are good people and I strongly recommend going to them with your hardware issues! They know exactly what to do!
Employee at appliances seemed unhappy to attend us. Went in to buy a washer, employee never made eye contact. Didn't take us long to decide which one to buy, but he walked away while we told him which one we were buying and to get it ready. We had looked at a repaired washer but he had no idea what was the item repaired. Not helpful at all.
I'm going to Home Depot.
