We discovered Vaquero Village while Googling other places to stop in the Laredo area. Vaquero Village is about 20 miles north of Laredo on I-35 Exit 18. At Exit 18 also is a very nice TXTDOT Information & Visitor Center. The RV park is on US-83 about 2.4 miles west from the TXTDOT Info. Center. Large sign on US-83 easy to turn southwest onto their entrance drive which was gravel and somewhat bumpy. The office is straight ahead about 1/4 mile. The park office has a sign which also serves and their laundry mat/restroom building. All of the RV sites are LARGE concrete pads. 50/30/20 electric at all the pedestals. Drinking water tasted good and they have sewer at all of the sites. Sites nicely spaced apart from one another. Concrete site not long enough for a 45' coach - front tires had to be on gravel/dirt. OTA TV was 3 channels. We arrived on a hot South Texas April day with temps reaching 100+ degrees and with all 4 roof A/C's going full tilt, the line voltage did not drop. That's good. Each electrical box also has your own campsite yard light. Sewer connection right next to water. 2 water spigots at every site. The owner is a very nice laid-back courteous gentleman who escorted our coach to our site. He said "Whenever you get all set-up and are ready to register, just ring the bell at the office". That's good service! We could hear a wee bit of highway traffic, but not enough to bother us. Next time we visit Laredo, we will stay at Vaquero Village.

Great place all the people are nice and they offer you food if you say it smells good

Owners are great, ever site has sewer and concrete slabs

Great place to stay. Concrete pads, clean and up-to-date laundry and bath rooms. Safe. I will be back. Best I've found in the area. Call for directions from the north. Google Maps doesn't work.

Only been here a few days but seems like a really nice place quiet safe not too far from town
