Dr. Cantu seems to be well versed in the field of medicine, but not int he field of children. He will send you to many specialist over the lifetime of your child. I'm all for going to a specialist if its necessary, but with Cantu you never know if it is b/c your always being sent to one. He doesn't really seem to be that good with the kids either. He's kinda awkward with them. He also gives very unrealistic advice on what to do with your children. For instance he told me to put long sleeves and pants on my child in the middle of summer in Laredo to avoid mosquitoes. Really? How's that going to work in 110 degree heat? But again he does seem knowledgeable with pediatric medicine.
Excellent Pediatrician! He's been taking care of our kids since birth. Very Knowledgeable and very accessible, even in the late evenings. He gives good advice as far as parenting skills too- how to handle picky eaters, etc.
