Dr. Recto is very Nice and Professional... but the staff is uncordinated and rude!!!
The only person willing to help was the receptionist and to her I say Thank you. Beside that you may want reconsider taking your children with these doctors it’s a waste of time.
I'm Sorry But I Have to Give 0 Stars. I am More & More Disappointed Every time One of My Kids Needs to See the Doctor. They have lost their Love For the Kids. Dr. RECTO won't even Allow u to Squeeze in a Word. Much Much less Ask a Question. I took my Daughter to See him Today to Treat a Rash. Don't ask me Why He Prescibed what he Prescribed to her. Or what ift might be or Where it may have Come From... I have a Million Questions. But...Again Recto has Lost their Touch. I will be Switching Doctors which is Sad for us. Recto has been Treating my family Since My Lil Ones were Lil. Ever Since I Moved Back from Fort Worth. I have yet to See the Doctors that We're so Passionate about the Kids & the Parents. Not to Mention I Was there 3 hours. & saw Mr. Recto for no longer than 3 mins.
If I could give zero stars or demerits, I would. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism from a staff member called Betsy and the nurse practitioner who gave us the wrong diagnosis. To start they make you wait from 3 to 4 hours before the nurse practitioner sees you. Yes, a nurse practitioner you don’t even get to see a doctor, Second I requested to speak with the office manager and their response was he only comes in once a month. I left a message for him or her to call me but I am still waiting. Third, I visited them a second time because my son kept getting worse and of course they billed me for that visit but nothing was done instead Betsy gives me a referral to see a doctor in Brownsville, TX but the problem is I live in Laredo, TX. Seriously that’s a 208-mile drive, WOW.
Dr. Gesina Recto is really nice and a wonderful person, but the other doctor is really rude. He just storms out of the room and doesn't let you ask questions. The staff is okay, but they don't actually follow up on the patients. They take like 2 or 3 months of vacations each years, and since my kid was due for check up they sent me to some doctor in LMC who was a total dick.
Dr. Gesina Recto is a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable and always gives a perfect diagnosis.
